On a specific occasion with my CT, we sat down and looked at the scores below for a math assessment. We chose the group of lowest-scoring students and I went through and marked every question that each of these students got incorrect, then circled each incorrect question that overlapped among the group. Once I had the questions, I took them and edited them to use as a guide for instruction. I pulled that small group to work on the questions.
For number 8 above, I simply changed the number to 64 fourth grade students and 8 adults. Then, I worked with the group to make sure they understood the question as well as the correct answer.
